Juilliard Student Recital: Jessica Niles, Soprano with Accompaniment (Site)

Hailing from Virginia, soprano Jessica Niles is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree under the tutelage of Marlena Malas at The Juilliard School, where she is a proud recipient of a Kovner Fellowship. She is an advocate for chamber music, physical stage engagement, and comprehensive character analysis. Kicking off the 2018-2019 season, Ms. Niles will be performing Eurydice in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld directed by Mo Zhou at The Juilliard School. In November, she will join Juilliard415 as Aminta in Handel’s cantata Aminta e Fillide, conducted by William Christie at The Morgan Library & Museum. Following, she will join MasterVoices at Carnegie Hall performing in Handel’s oratorio Israel in Egypt. Culminating her studies at Juilliard, she will present her graduation recital in February 2019, featuring chamber and solo repertoire. She will wrap up her season singing Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, conducted by Joseph Colaneri and directed by Emma Griffin at The Juilliard School.
