ICE at the Library: Collecting Phyllis Chen

A founding member of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), composer and toy pianist Phyllis Chen has been praised by the New York Times for her “delightful quirkiness matched with interpretive sensitivity”. In our continuing series of interactive workshop performances with ICE, Chen will perform some of her multimedia and instrumental compositions, including a step by step dissection of her latest unfinished work Mobius. Join us in our continuing radical archiving experiment, where composers, performers, and audiences all share in the process of creating a new music work.
