Armenian-American pianist Karine Poghosyan recently released a CD of works by Khachaturian on Naxos. In 2017, Ms. Poghosyan performed with Sinfonia Toronto and Wallingford Symphony, and will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra in 2018. She returns to Weill Recital Hall to present her program “Transformations,” composed of piano works originally written for orchestra, violin, and the ballet.
