Hungarian Emerging Artists Concert Series at Consulate General of Hungary (Site)

Wednesday May 24, 2023, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Free

The Liszt Institute New York is excited and absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new concert series featuring up-and-coming Hungarian musical talents who are in some way connected to the United States. Hungary has been historically known as a country that gave the world several unique musical geniuses such as Ferenc Liszt, Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály. The goal of the Hungarian Emerging Artists concert series is to turn the spotlight on those award-winning, gifted Hungarian musicians who are currently present in the United States and provide them with an opportunity to show their talents to a wider range of audiences.

The concert series also aims to bring classical music out of its categorization as „elite” and present it literally in a new light with the use of atmospheric, colorful lights.

In the debut event of the concert series we are delighted to showcase two excellent Hungarian classical musicians, who are currently pursuing their degrees at the prestigious Bard Conservatory of Music in upstate New York.

ARRIVAL AND STANDING RECEPTION: 6:30PM

CONCERT: 7PM
