Celebrating Women Composers at BAM Fisher

BMCO partners with The New York Women’s Foundation to celebrate female composers whose works are rarely performed. BMCO premieres Six Narratives for six voices and chamber orchestra by American composer Hannah Selin, Concertino for flute, piano and orchestra by Germaine Tailleferre and Behind Barbed Wire by Deon Price. Soloists include Sylvia Kahan, piano, Eva Ding, Flute, and China Inoue, saxophone. This program will be guest conducted by Gerardo Estrada.
