OSM and its new music director Rafael Payare make their first appearance together at Carnegie Hall. Yefim Bronfman and the OSM musicians demonstrate their talents in Béla Bartók’s dazzling Piano Concerto No. 2. Maestro Payare will then lead the orchestra through Mahler’s symphonic vision, the Symphony No. 5.
