Originally titled DIDO REIMAGINED, the piece was first commissioned by Chamber Music Northwest, Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Rockport Music, Tisch Center for the Arts at 92nd St. Y, Wake Forest University’s Secrest Artists Series, and University of Maryland, Clarice Smith Center.

The new arrangement was commissioned by The Juilliard School, which will present the first performance on December 14, 2025, followed by the first fully staged performance on February 18, 2026.
