Haneul Park, Viola

Haneul Park, viola (Seoul, South Korea), has won numerous competitions, including the Strad Music Competition, Korea Herald Music Competition, and the Seoul Youth Chamber Music Competition. She performed at the 30th Korea Young Musicians Festival, and the New England Conservatory Chamber Music Gala Concert in Jordan Hall. Since then, she has performed for international audiences in the United States, France, Germany, Austria, and South Korea.  She was selected as the one of violists in the LGT Young Soloists, and has participated in the Moritzburg Music Festival, New York String Orchestra Seminar, and Bowdoin Festival. Before she moved to the United States, she entered the Seoul Arts High School with honors and attended the Seoul Arts Center’s Gifted Children’s Music Academy, and as a pianist graduated from the Yewon Arts School. Haneul is currently studying in New England Conservatory with Kim Kashkashian. Previous Young Artists Program participant (2018, 2019)
