This is our theme of the evening- Art, Poetry , Life, Death, Rejoice , Regret , Life is to be lived. Music based on these themes and those who played with fate either with reverance or animosity. Our representations or Archetypes for this journey tonight are:

THE NEW ILLUMINATI

The Illuminati was a small group of people who sought to infuse higher thinking into the main stream, thus Illluninating the average people through art. They existed just prior to the French Revolution. Christian Gottleib Neefe was Beethoven’s only real teacher from childhood through adolescense. He was also a key member and the secretary of the Illuminati. His humanity and beleifs no doubt influenced the young mind of the greatest musician of all time, helping the master to illuminate the world throughout his lifetime and ours.

We are here to praise those who came before us and carry that torch. Your attending helps in that effort; The belief that art in itself… Not “art” as a “vehicle” for a “cause” …NO ! but that Art in itself and of itself benefits the world more than any other entity.
