The Salmagundi library committee is proud to present Buster Keaton’s 1928 slapstick extravaganza, Steamboat Bill, Jr. Keaton’s zany performance features his most famous stunt of all time and if you’ve ever wondered how an entire house could fall on one’s head without leaving a scratch he’ll show you how it’s done. The movie is silent, but have no fear because we have no intention of keeping it quiet.

Back by popular demand is the legendary Terry Waldo who will be accompanying the film with a live piano accompaniment. Mr. Waldo’s virtuosity has to be heard to be believed and we promise you that you’ll join the ranks of his many fans by the time the credits roll.
