Renowned for his work with legends like Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, and Rita Moreno, he has performed worldwide in solo, trio, big band, and Broadway settings. His recordings, including SOMEWHERE and BIRD FLY BY, showcase his artistry, while his leadership of the Russ Kassoff Big Band highlights his talents as an arranger and composer. Kassoff remains a respected figure in the New York jazz scene, noted for his precision, enthusiasm, and contributions to both live performance and recorded music.
