Terry Waldo, protégé of Eubie Blake, is a celebrated ragtime, stride, and blues pianist, vocalist, composer, and producer, known for his dry wit. In his 50+ year career, he has produced over 60 albums, including I Double Dare You with Tatiana Eva-Marie and Waldo’s Gotham City Band. He’s currently producing the This Is Ragtime podcast and documentary. Waldo has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, and his influential book This Is Ragtime was reissued by Jazz at Lincoln Center, introduced by Wynton Marsalis. His work spans TV, film, theater, and major jazz festivals worldwide. Terry leads several acclaimed groups and remains a vital force in American music.
