Ariacne Truillo -piano/voice
Grammy nominee Ariacne Trujillo Duran is considered one of the virtuoso pianists,arranger and vocalist from the New York area .She was born in Havana, Cuba, where she had an extensive career since age 4,as a classical concert pianist and composer,performing at age 14, with the tops Cuba’s symphonic orchestras.Since she arrived in New York City in 2002,Trujillo has been leading numerous significant projects as well as working as a lead singer, arranger, pianist and director for the position for the off-Broadway production “Carmen to Havana and Back.”
Trujillo’s musical essence is full of strength,mastery, versatility, charisma, sympathy and an energy that captivates. With her virtuosity on the piano, her powerful and flexible voice and the freshness and peculiarity of her arrangements, she mixes the genres of her native Cuba, with passages of classical music, and the style that she has perfected in her more than 20 years in the Cosmopolitan city of New York. One of Trujillo’s compositions was included in Terri Lyne Carrington’s book New Standards, published by Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. Trujillo graduated with a Suma Cum Laude degree in Music from New Jersey City University, and has a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance in the specialty of Voice and Piano,her teaching experience includes clinics at Berklee College of Music, New York University and Duke University, Virginia.Mannes School of Music,Lehman College,Berklee Valencia,as well as Universities and conservatories in Peru,Colombia,Greece,Spain,Brazil and Costa Rica.
Trujillo has performed, shared a stage, and recorded with legends such as Paul Simon, Paquito D. Dr. Jelena Cingara – piano is an active performer and artist in the United States, Canada, and European countries such as Italy, France, and Czech Republic. Her career includes a series of solo, chamber, and collaborative international and national recitals, and over 25 years of piano teaching. She has performed in concert venues such as: Libby Gardner, Dumke, Abravanel hall, and Kenley amphitheatre in Utah, as well as Arts and Letters Club, Walter Hall, and Ettore Mazzoleni Halls in Toronto, and Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in NYC. As a collaborative and chamber musician, she played recitals in Italy, Serbia, US and Canada, and for masterclasses for famous quartets such as: The Bennewitz, Faure, Doric as well as Philip Seltzer from the Emerson Quartet. Jelena is a prizewinner of numerous piano competitions, and throughout her career, she was also a recipient of numerous scholarships and a teaching assistantship. She completed her DMA in Piano Performance, with a minor in organ performance at The University of Utah School of Music in 2016. Her Off-Broadway/Broadway debuts are with: “The Last boy” in the summer of 2021/ April 2022 respectively. Jelena has also played in: “The Kiss of the Spider woman” with Scarborough players theatre, “Carrie” with Utah Rep Theatre, “Charlie Brown” with Toledo Theatre in the past. Jelena has accompanied singers in Broadway style at Barnard College (1 class of 10 students), and prepared them for recitals, AADA (4 classes of 15 student a week), U of Toledo, and in person for many years (since she was in her 20’s). She has a good knowledge of Broadway repertoire that she has been accompanying and performing. Since coming to the NYC/NJ area 3 years ago Jelena has performed in 14 chamber music recitals with various collaborators, has subbed in many NJ/NYC churches almost weekly, and participated in their concerts as well. In the summer of 2024 Jelena worked as an accompanist for NJPAC in Newark, She is a very active accompanist/chamber musician, performer and teacher in the NYC/NJ area.

Jose Luis Abreu – percussion
Native New Yorker. At the age of 14 he embarked on a life long journey of performing, recording, and touring with numerous groups in different genres. At 18 he met Warren I Smith who convinced him to attend Suny College at Old Westbury. There he studied with Warren, Andrei Strobert, Richard Harper, Charli Presip, Joe Chambers Coleridge Taylor Perkinson and others. He is a member of the Composers Workshop Ensemble. He’s had a lifelong association with Andrew Lamb with several different groups. He’s a member of Matt Lavelles 12 house orchestra, and can be heard on their latest recording. He fronts his own groups ranging from a duo to a sextet. Lifelong lover of music of all kinds
