Massimiliano Ferrati is one of the most impressive Italian musicians of his generation, renowned for his extraordinary musicality, technical strength and charismatic performances. Grand Prix Winner at “Rina Sala Gallo” in Monza and Bronze Medalist at the “Rubinstein Piano Competition” in Tel Aviv, he has given recitals both in Italy and abroad and performed as soloist with orchestras, such as the Calgary Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic, and Moscow Symphony.
Recordings include the Mozart Piano Sonatas for Velut Luna and two recordings including Prokofiev works.
He gives masterclasses regularly both in Italy and abroad including at IKIF, the Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes, the Ciaikovskij National Academy in Kiev, and Showa University in Tokyo.
Mr. Ferrati studied with Sergio Perticaroli, at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the “S.Cecilia” Academy in Rome, where he received the First-class honours diploma. He is currently Piano Professor at the Conservatory “E. F. Dall’Abaco” in Verona.
The International Keyboard Institute and Festival (IKIF) is an annual event held in New York City that celebrates piano music and performance. It offers a platform for both established artists and emerging talents.
