About Gabriele Strata

Gabriele Strata is an acclaimed Italian pianist known for his poetic sensitivity and technical mastery. A 2024 Silver Medalist and Audience Prize winner at the Concours Musical International de Montréal, he has also received top honors at the Rio de Janeiro International Piano Competition and the Premio Venezia. Strata has performed in major venues worldwide, including Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, and the Berliner Philharmonie, and studied under renowned teachers at Yale, Guildhall, and Santa Cecilia. His repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary, earning consistent praise for his expressive and refined artistry.

Mannes Summer Piano Festival Concert Series

The Mannes Summer Piano Festival is a celebration of piano artistry! From July 14 to 23, the concert series showcases piano virtuosity with an extraordinary lineup of the new generation of internationally acclaimed pianists. All concerts will take place at Tishman Auditorium at The New School.
