New York City’s finest pianists perform most summer weekdays in Bryant Park, free to the public! Join on the park’s Upper Terrace for a different musician weekly.

Frank Owens has had a career in virtually all aspects of the music profession. His television credits include the First David Letterman Show in 1980 and It’s Showtime at the Apollo. He received a gold record for his rhythm concept of Tony Orlando and Dawn’s Tie a Yellow Ribbon ‘Round the Old Oak Tree, and has worked with a diverse array of singers including Johnny Mathis, John Denver, Chubby Checker, Petula Clark, Keith David, Freda Payne, Lesley Gore, Ruth Brown, Oscar Brown Jr., Connie Francis, and Lena Horne. On Broadway, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Sophisticated Ladies. CD’s include Frank Owens Plays the Music of Oliver with a Latin Twist and his latest CD Frank Owens in Performance. When not in Bryant Park, Frank spends most of his time in Washington D.C. playing ballet classes for The Maryland Youth Ballet in Silver Sprin.
