Colorado native Rico Jones is steadily becoming one of the top young saxophonists of his generation. He has received numerous national awards for his improvisation, composition and arranging, including six Downbeat magazine awards. He has also performed with notable artists like Dave Kikoski, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Steven Feifke and many others. He currently lives in New York where he pursues performance, composition, as well as leading his own ensembles.
