Yunchan Lim Solo Recital at Carnegie Hall (Site)
Friday April 24, 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Yunchan Lim has rapidly ascended to piano superstardom, and his performances routinely sell out the world’s leading concert halls. Even online, Lim’s playing enjoys nearly unrivaled demand: His debut album was Apple Music Classical’s most popular recording of 2024, and his Van Cliburn–winning performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 is the work’s most-viewed recording of all time on YouTube. In this Friday-night recital, Lim treats audiences to Schubert’s meditative Piano Sonata in G Major, plus a pair of tour-de-force piano fantasies by Chopin and Robert Schumann.
