Pianist Marius Marius Van Den Brink is a winner of the Pathways to Jazz Awards. After moving from Amsterdam to Brooklyn, New York, Marius performed and recorded with well known artists such as Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, Joel Frahm, Ingrid Jensen, Ara Dinkjian, Sean Jones, Cee-Lo Green, A$AP Rocky, Haley Reinhart, the Birdland Bigband and the Tonkunstler Orchestra.
As a leader and sideman, Den Brink has performed on world class stages and festivals around the world. His album Blauw was released on January 30, 2022 and features Ingrid Jensen on trumpet, Doug Weiss on bass and Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts on drums. His new studio album ‘New York Knock’ was released on January 14, 2024.
