Jean Rondeau Harpsichord Recital at Carnegie Hall (Site)

Harpsichord virtuoso Jean Rondeau returns to great demand after his previous sold-out recital. “One of the most natural performers one is likely to hear … he and the harpsichord become one,” says The Washington Post. He brings a program of works by Louis Couperin, François Couperin, Rameau, and Royer, which—in Rondeau’s assured hands—“thrill as they should while never trampling on the gorgeous deep tone of the magnificent instrument” (Gramophone).
