Dan Manjovi on the Fountain Terrace at Bryant Park

A five, six, seven, eight…come on down and swing along to the best ragtime, stride, and jazz the Big Apple has to offer. With special performances on select Thursdays and sprinkled spontaneously throughout the season.

Dan Manjovi, an annual favorite at the Bryant Park piano series, is a pianist/keyboardist, vocalist, composer, lyricist and performer, and teacher. His music and arrangements have been featured in film, onstage, and television, and have been performed and/or recorded by Donna Summer, Michael Feinstein, and Grace Hightower, among others. His song, “Somethin’s Comin’ My Way” was written at the request of Oscar-Nominated Director and Filmmaker Lee Daniels, and featured in the Academy Award-winning Lionsgate Film Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire. Manjovi also produced, arranged, and recorded the song for the soundtrack recording for the Universal-Interscope label. Dan has released two solo albums Dan Manjovi (2005), Woke Up This Morning (2008), and his song “Things’ll Get Better” appears on the Compilation CD United For The Ride (2009). His latest single, “There Is No One More Beautiful” was released in early 2016. Dan is a multiple ASCAP Popular Award Winner, and a recipient of Backstage Newspaper’s Bistro Award for Outstanding Singer/Instrumentalist.
