I am in my penultimate semester of my MSLIS degree at St. John’s University as I change career paths from performance to the archival field. I have been accepted to the “Libraries and Archives Abroad” program in Dublin for January 2027, but due to changes in federal student loans caused by the Big Beautiful Bill, I need your help getting there. For the past 4 semesters, I have had 100% of my tuition covered through FAFSA. This year, I am one of many in my program that can only receive 67% of our FAFSA loan to pay for our education. I hope this recital can make this happen, and I hope you can join for an evening celebrating Irish music, poetry, and community.My goal of $1000 would cover the deposit for my tuition, ensuring my place in the program. A suggested donation of $15 is appreciated but not required. You can make that donation here, or at the door.A portion of the donations will also go to the St. Francis de Sales Music Fund, so that Music Director Travis Bloom can continue to program outstanding musical offerings for the congregation and community of the Upper East Side and East Harlem.
