The Claremont Trio has established itself as one of the leading piano trios in the United States. They have expanded the repertoire with many commissioned works and play with “aesthetic maturity, interpretive depth, and exuberance.” (Palm Beach Daily News) Here they offer the darkly passionate trio by Rebecca Clarke, Maurice Ravel’s ravishing Trio, and join “spellbinding” Syrian American clarinetist-composer Kinan Azmeh (New Yorker) for the New York Premiere of Gravitas, inspired by Middle Eastern folk music.
