Martín García García (born in Gijón, 1996), has earned international acclaim with his performances in venues across Europe, America, and Asia. He won first prize at the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition and third prize at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition, where he also received the Warsaw Philharmonic National Orchestra’s special award for the best concerto performance.
A graduate of the Reina Sofía School of Music, where he studied under Professor Galina Eguiazarova, Martín was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student by Her Majesty Queen Sofía. He completed a Master’s in Piano at the Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Jerome Rose.
Martín has also performed with top orchestras, including the Symphoniker Hamburg, Warsaw Philharmonic, Orquesta Nacional de España, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
This season features his sixth tour of Japan. He will also perform in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Colombia, and Germany.
