The newest of Juilliard’s five main performance spaces, this small venue is a theater used for many of the school’s smaller and experimental productions, with presentations that range from opera to multimedia and interdisciplinary events. Opened in 2009 as part of Lincoln Center’s grand redevelopment project, the theater is named after Juilliard alumnus Meredith Willson, best known for writing the book, music, and lyrics for The Music Man. The Rosemary and Meredith Willson Theater is on the third floor of Juilliard, on West 65th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue.
