Trio Solisti’s Masterworks Program 2 opens with Beethoven’s “Ghost” Piano Trio, filled with humor, surprises, and ghostly evocations. Sounds of Bohemian folk music pervade Dvořák’s Piano Trio in G Minor, which features a Gypsy-style finale. This program closes with one of the masterpieces of Trio repertoire, Brahms’ Trio in C Major. Trio Solisti’s recording of Brahms Trios Nos. 1 and 2 has recently been released.
