First place winner of the American Jazz Pianist Competition\, and current 2023 American Pianist Awards finalist\, he is a performer\, composer\, and teacher\, performing in many of NYC’s top venues from The Village Vanguard\, Lincoln Center Out of Doors\, Dizzy’s Club\, to Smalls\, Mezzrow\, and many more. Thomas leads his own trio in addition to engagements alongside current luminaries such as Peter Bernstein\, Peter Washington\, Joe Farnsworth\, Francisco Mela\, and many others. Thomas’s debut album will be releasing on the Cellar Music Group label on August 5th\, 2022.
