DESCRIPTION:About the Concert \nMichiyo Morikawa opens the Third Street Live Sounds faculty concert series with “Passion Hispana and Latina.” \nThis program will include contributions and works influenced and composed by Hispanic and Latin American composers. \nProgram to include:  \n\nMateo Albeniz – Sonata in D Major\nJacinto Guerrero – Mid Aldea\nEnrique Granados – Andaluza Op. 37\nAgustín Lara – Granada\nArturo Marquez – Danzon No. 2 for two pianos\n\nFeaturing: \n\nMichiyo Morikawa\, piano\nJose Adan Perez\, baritone\nTaketo Kataoka\, piano\nRamon Ponce\, guitar\nJairo Marín\, requinto\nGabriel Mario Ulibarri\, guitarron\nNatalia Basava\, castañeras\n\nAbout the Series \nThird Street’s Live Sounds faculty concert series is open to the public on select Fridays at 7:00 p.m. in the Anna-Maria Kellen Concert Hall at Third Street (235 East 11th Street). \nThe series presents a wide range of solo and collaborative performances highlighting many genres\, instrumentation\, and composers and spotlights the world-class professional teaching artists at Third Street. \nMost concerts are also livestreamed free at www.thirdstreet.nyc at the performance times \nConcert Safety \nThird Street strongly encourages all guests to wear a mask to protect themselves and others\, but it is no longer required. COVID policies are subject to change.
