SUMMARY:The Most Beautiful Jazz by Candlelight: From Gershwin to Hancock\, at Merkin Concert Hall
DESCRIPTION:“The Most Beautiful Jazz by Candlelight: From Gershwin to Hancock” \nSVITLO CONCERT PRESENTS \nJoin for a spellbinding night of timeless jazz — where the music of iconic composers comes alive in intimate\, candlelit surroundings. \nExperience the beauty of melodies that have stirred the hearts of listeners for decades — music that transcends time. From the smooth sophistication of Herbie Hancock\, a 14-time Grammy Award winner\, to the unforgettable elegance of Henry Mancini\, recipient of 20 Grammys\, these compositions remain as powerful today as ever. \nLet the golden warmth of George Gershwin’s “Summertime\,” the poetic depth of Michel Legrand’s “The Windmills of Your Mind\,” and the gentle rhythm of Antonio Carlos Jobim’s “The Girl from Ipanema” draw you into a world of sound and feeling. \nYou’ll also hear “Fragile” by Sting and the iconic “Fly Me to the Moon”\, reimagined for solo piano. Each piece will be performed by a brilliant pianist whose interpretations are filled with nuance\, sensitivity\, and passion. \nFor generations\, these melodies have touched hearts and stood the test of time — a legacy of sound that never fades. \nLet yourself and your loved ones be carried away by a night of music that enchants the soul and leaves you breathless.✨ \n*SVITLO CONCERT is the original creator of the candlelight concert experience. Since 2012\, we’ve brought classical\, jazz\, orchestral\, film\, and popular music to life — illuminated by candlelight and performed in extraordinary spaces like rooftops\, gardens\, and other surprising settings. \nGEORGE GERSHWIN – The Man I Love (arr.
