SUMMARY:The Grossman Family in Concert at Saint Agnes Church
DESCRIPTION:The Grossman Musical Family will perform iconic works written for violin\, viola\, cello\, piano\, and voice. The program features two world premieres: Trio in F minor for violin\, cello\, and piano by Sasha Grossman\, and El Camino Infinito for voice and strings by Misha Grossman. The evening will also include music by renowned Cuban composer Jorge López Marín (Noche de Tango) and Arensky’s Piano Trio in D minor. \nHailed by The New York Times as a “brilliant soloist\,” violinist Eric Grossman “possesses a strikingly beautiful sound” (The Strad). He will be joined by his gifted musical family: pianist Lida Grossman\, their daughters Cecilia (cello) and Vera (voice)\, and their sons Misha (violin) and Sasha (piano). Special guest: Father Tom Vassalotti (bass). \n
