FreeThe 11th Finger is an evening of Piano Etudes performances presented by students from The History of Piano Etudes Class of Jenny Lin. The program provides a survey of the history of Piano Etudes and its most significant repertory from Domenico Scarlatti to Philip Glass, exploring the concept of keyboard virtuosity and investigating the social, cultural, and historical influences that transformed the Piano Etudes from practice rooms to concert halls.
