DESCRIPTION:New Chamber Ballet presents the world premiere of Stargazing\, an hour-long ballet choreographed by Miro Magloire to music by Christian-Frédéric Bloquert. \nIn celebration of the company’s 20th Anniversary Season\, Stargazing is a rhapsodic phantasy that revolves around the interweaving of music and dance. \nThe choreography is performed in New Chamber Ballet’s signature\, in-the-round setup\, with the audience seated up-close and able to see the dancing from various angles. \nBloquert’s score\, Memory\, Forgot for violin and piano\, subtly evokes and pays tribute to two iconic ballets: Tchaikovsky’s Serenade and Stravinsky’s Agon. \nPerformers include the dancers Anabel Alpert\, Megan Foley\, Nicole McGinnis\, Amber Neff\, Rachele Perla; as well as Madeline Hocking (violin) and Sophiko Simsive (piano). \nThe performance will be 60 minutes\, and there will be no intermission.
