Formed by Sir Neville Marriner in 1958\, The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is one of the world’s finest chamber orchestras\, renowned for fresh\, brilliant interpretations of great orchestral music. The Academy Wind Ensemble\, drawn from the principal players in the orchestra\, returns to the USA with a vibrant programme of elegant\, thoughtful European classics for winds and piano. \nPlayers: \n\nTimothy Rundle\, Oboe\nFiona Cross\, Clarinet\nJulie Price\, Bassoon\nStephen Stirling\, Horn\nCaroline Palmer\, Piano\n\nRepertoire features: \n\nMikhail Glinka Trio Pathetique in D Minor for clarinet\, bassoon\, and piano\nHeinrich Molbe Air Arabe for oboe\, horn\, and piano\, Op. 77\nMozart Quintet K 452\n\nAs usual\, doors will open at 7pm and music will start at 7:30pm. After the concert guests are welcome to join for a short after-party until 9:30pm
