DESCRIPTION:New York New Music Ensemble Presents: Clarity and Opacity \nPlease join on February 5th at the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation as we revisit Elliott Carter’s seminal “Triple Duo”\, one of the iconic chamber works of the twentieth century. As the title implies\, “Triple Duo” deals with counterpoint and dialogue in every possible guise- counterpoint of orchestration\, of timbre\, of rhythm\, of pitch\, of mood\, and of gesture. Here is Carter at the height of his powers\, with equal measure of intellect\, drama\, and whimsy.
