DESCRIPTION:Nate Sassoon was born and raised in New York city. He grew up listening to classical and the world’s music and started to play the piano by ear at the age of 3. Nate can be described as a musical polymath: his works can be found in electronic music genres (dubstep\, synthwave\, house\, etc)\, computer music (algorithmic compositions)\, neo classical\, modern\, contemporary\, but also historical compositions and improvisations. He is also an author of pop and rock songs. \nToday\, Nate is a classical pianist\, organist\, fortepianist\, improviser\, composer and a music producer . He is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Phillips Exeter Academy. Nate has performed in venues including Carnegie Hall\, Steinway Hall\, Merkin Hall\, Russian Synod\, Andrei Makarevich Club in Moscow\, Art and Music Center of Maykovsky (St. Petersburg)\, Scriabin Hall (Dzerzhinsk)\, University of Oxford\, Oxford\, UK\, Jamaica\, Italy and Germany. \nPROGRAM: \nGeorge Frederick Handel- Keyboard Suite No.10\, 1720 \nWolfgang Amadeus Mozart- Piano Sonata No. 13 in B flat major\, K. 333 (K. 315c)\, 1783 \nEdward MacDowell- Woodland Sketches\, Op.51. Suite of 10 short piano pieces (1896) \nNate Sassoon- American Suite. 5 short pieces in historical American style. (2022) \nFree and historical style (baroque\, classical\, romantic\, and modern) improvisations. \nThe performance will feature spontaneously composed music (improvisation). It is impossible to predict what type of improvisation will be played in the concert\, it will depend on the audience and the atmosphere of the moment.
