His distinctive sound bridges jazz\, classical\, and contemporary grooves\, offering a fresh voice on the modern music scene. \nOriginally from Moscow\, Misha immigrated to the U.S. in 1981 and pursued jazz studies under pianist Kenny Barron\, earning degrees from Rutgers and the Manhattan School of Music\, where he received a full scholarship. His trio with Hans Glawischnig and Ari Hoenig explores the boundaries between jazz\, classical\, and urban grooves. Their debut album\, Uncommon Circumstance\, blends classical melodicism with popular rhythms. \nBeyond the stage\, Misha composes for film and multimedia\, with soundtrack credits including Chaos Theory\, Pretty Persuasion\, RX\, and Danika.
