The festival’s opening event\, Piano Celebration Gala: Mannes Goes All-Steinway\, will be on September 20 at 7:30pm at The New School’s John L. Tishman Auditorium\, featuring music for piano ensembles by Bernstein\, Grant Still\, Copland\, Piazzolla\, Rachmaninoff\, Debussy\, Poulenc\, Lavignac\, Yoon\, Smetana\, Hailstork\, Bolcom\, Tower\, Liebermann\, Ravel\, A Bu/Carlos Pascual Cippeletti.
