The 2017 Semi-Finalists for the Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition, chosen from a total of 166 applicants, represent five countries and 14 U.S. states.

Open to young pianists between the ages of 7 and 18, the competition awards cash prizes and gives winners the opportunity to perform in New York’s prestigious Merkin Concert Hall.

The Semi-Final and Final Rounds of the 2017 Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition as well as the Winners’ Concert on June 27 are FREE and open to the public.

All performances take palce in Kaufman Music Center’s Merkin Concert Hall.

Tuesday, June 20

Wednesday, June 21

Followed by announcement of semi-final results for Senior Division and awarding of Diplomas
