From Bach to Barber: Music for Cello and Piano, at Merkin Concert Hall (Site)

Wednesday May 4, 2022, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$25

Scott Ballantyne and Hiroko Sasaki, hailed by Le Figaro as "poets" and"consummate artists," return to Merkin Hall for their third New York performance. They will perform enduring favorites and beautiful but neglected works, taking the listener on a fascinating journey from J.S. Bach to Samuel Barber.

For a more immersive experience, please attend famed conductor, radio
personality and Emmy Award nominee George Marriner Maull's
pre-concert lecture about the program at 7pm in the Balcony Lobby!
