Frank Daykin, author of The Encyclopedia of French Song, will work with singers and pianists on the songs of Fauré. All three periods of Fauré’s compositional styles will be explored (early style 1860-79, middle style 1880-1904, and late style 1905-1922), and singers will present two songs from contrasting periods.
