Internationally acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel celebrates the tenth season of his ever-popular Keyboard Conversations^® series at Scandinavia House. Each evening comprises an informal commentary on the music and its composers, a full performance of each work, and a short Q & A session. The accessible format enables audiences to build an understanding of classical music whether newcomer or seasoned listener.

In tonight’s performance, Siegel presents energetic music including ragtime music by George Gershwin and Scott Joplin; the Festive March of Carl Nielsen; the celebrated march from The Love For Three Oranges by Sergei Prokofiev; the hilarious Circus Polka of Igor Stravinsky; the enchanting Invitation to the Waltz of Carl Maria von Weber; and the sassy polka of The Golden Age of Dmitri Shostakovich.
