Dear music lovers and friends,
You are cordially invited to our debut of DaCapo Salon Series. DaCapo Salon Series is formed by Katty Mayorga (guitar), Chantal Balestri (piano), and Ti Chung (Flute), who are active musicians and educators in NYC. With our musician friends, we would like to present you various chamber music. This debut includes guitar duet and trio for flute, clarinet and piano.

About the Musicians

Chantal Balestri is an Italian pianist who has won various international competitions and is actively perfoming with the Mahler Youth Orchestra all over Europe. She runs Lunigiana International Music Festival and recently graduated from NYU with her Masters.

Ti Chung is a Taiwanese flutist who has performed as a soloist and is the member of the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra, and various pit orchestras throughout NYC. As a graduate of Texas Tech University for her D.M.A., she has performed in China, National Flute Association, and festivals in Europe.

Katty Mayorga is a Nicaraguan classical guitarist that has vast playing experience with multiple genres of music. She actively performs with JKLM duo ensemble featuring flutist Jamie Lee and her guitar duo partner Fabricio Andrade. She is a graduate of SUNY Purchase for her Undergraduate degree and Masters Under Frederic Hand.

Alex Yu is a versatile musician who embraces a career as a clarinetist, recorder player and conductor. He has given performances in major venues and has participated in major music festivals around the world. He was the first-prize winner of the 2012 American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition. Alex is currently a doctorate candidate in clarinet performance at the Graduate Center, CUNY.

Fabricio Dobner Andrade began his formal music studies on October 2003 at “Davino Tardelli da Silva” conservatory with orientation of Joze Marcos Rodriguez. At these time he performed solo and chamber music concerts, such as the “semana da música” (UFSCAR), “primeiro encontro de Orquestras de violões da Escola de Música Romário Antônio Barbosa” (2004), “Festival nacional de violão de Votorantim”(2004), “Amostra violonística de Votorantim ”(2007, 2008), “Seminário internacional de violão Vital medeiros” (2010, 2011), “Festival Internacional Leo Brouwer” (2011) and was selected for the 42 and 43 edition of the renomaded “Festival Internacional de Inverno de Campos dos Jordao” (2011, 2012) where was oriented by Michael Lewin and Fabio Zanon (Royal Academy Academy, London) and the “Festival SESC Musica” (2013) under orientation of Eduardo Fernandez. In 2014 got his bachelor degree in music performance by USP University of São Paulo where was oriented by Gustavo Costa (Brazilian Guitar Quartet). Moved to New York to continue the studies with Joao Luiz Rezende (Brasil Guitar Duo).
