DESCRIPTION:“Da Capo” is a heartwarming and unconventional violin-piano experience by Duo Perdendosi – an Asian North American duo from Chinese and Indian immigrant families. This tour not only tells our own families’ immigrant stories\, but also bears witness to the stories of the community\, thus empowering each stranger we have the privilege of crossing paths with. We will explore music\, food\, and traditions of Asian American diaspora populations\, strengthen bonds within each local community and foster personal human connections in intimate concert settings. More than just a concert\, “Da Capo” is a deeply respectful\, humble\, kind\, patient\, tender storytelling circle\, where we learn how to listen to each others’ stories\, and discover how diaspora populations can find a sense of Homecoming through music and art.
