Here\, his youthful 2nd piano trio and gorgeous Romance are paired with Carl Reinecke’s Schumanesque piano quartet in E-flat major and a beautiful set of variations on one of the most famous tunes ever written: Pachelbel’s Canon. \nProgram\nBeethoven Piano Trio No. 2 in G major\, Op. 1\, No. 2\nRochberg “Variations on Pachabel’s Canon\,” from String Quartet No. 6\nBeethoven Romance for Violin and Piano in F major\, Op. 50\nReinecke Piano Quartet in E-flat major\, Op. 34 \nPerformers\nAlbert Cano Smit\, piano\nChad Hoopes\, violin\nTien-Hsin Cindy Wu\, violin\nMatthew Lipman\, viola\nBrannon Cho\, cello \nPerformance duration is approximately one hour and twenty minutes. There is no intermission. \nSince 1984\, Bridgehampton Chamber Music has brought the very best of chamber music to Long Island’s East End. From a pair of concerts over a single weekend\, to a series of concerts over 5 weeks in the summer as well as a series of concerts each spring and fall\, BCM has become one of the country’s most highly regarded chamber music organizations in the country.
