DESCRIPTION:The BCM’s partnership with the Parrish Art Museum continues with wide-ranging and colorful program that delves into the many emotional states that art produces. From the whimsy of Poulenc’s Trio for Oboe\, Bassoon\, and Piano\, to the romantic feeling of Elgar’s Salut d’amour\, to the solemnity of Rachmaninoff’s Trio Élégiaque\, this program captures the full range of human expression. \nAll-Bach Program\nPoulenc\, Trio for Oboe\, Bassoon\, and Piano\nSuk\, Meditation on the Old Czech Chorale\, “St. Wenceslas” (arr. for Winds)\nBittova\, Hoboj and Divna Slecinka for Oboe and Viola\nElgar\, Salut d’amour for Cello and Piano\nRachmaninoff\, Trio élégiaque No. 1 in G minor \nPerformers\nMarya Martin\, flute\nStewart Rose\, horn\nWilliam Hagen\, violin\nMatthew Lipman\, viola\nPeter Stumpf\, cello\nShai Wosner\, piano \nPerformance duration is approximately one hour and twenty minutes. There is no intermission. \nSince 1984\, Bridgehampton Chamber Music has brought the very best of chamber music to Long Island’s East End. From a pair of concerts over a single weekend\, to a series of concerts over 5 weeks in the summer as well as a series of concerts each spring and fall\, BCM has become one of the country’s most highly regarded chamber music organizations in the country. Each year\, some of the world’s finest chamber musicians gather in Bridgehampton to create unique musical experiences.  \n​BCMF has been lauded for its innovative programming\, and has a long history of commissioning new works.
